Maribel grew up within Virginia and was raised by her parents alongside siblings though information about them is scarce. As a child Maribel was interested in becoming the next lawyer, and she aimed to pursue an occupation in the legal profession. But, when she graduated at the age of 16, she enrolled in the University of Virginia where she studied for a degree in Foreign Policy and a minor in German. Thomas Jefferson, an author of the Declaration of Independence, founded the school in 1819. The school has grown to offer more than a hundred courses, centered around the location of Jefferson's Academical Village which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its central campus covers 1600 acres while the research park and farm cover hundreds of acres. Maribel obtained her law school at New York Law School. Maribel Aber NYLS in a law school that is known by its prominent faculty.
