Hallie Jackson. Jackson is an American journalist and political analyst. Currently, she serves as an analyst and White House correspondent at NBC News. She also anchors newscasts for MSNBC. In Pennsylvania she was born, raised, and earned her degree in political science at the John Hopkins University. Jackson started her career as a reporter for CBS affiliates WBOC, WFSB and WBOC in Maryland Delaware Connecticut. After an insignificant period, she joined Hearst Corporation where she reported from Washington DC to their 26 television stations. Jackson then was hired by NBC News in 2014 and spent one year with the NBC Los Angeles station. Her excellent reporting of different campaigning campaigns, like the 2016 Presidential Elections and the 2016 Presidential Elections, has earned her the name as a committed journalist. She has been praised by her versatility as well as hard work. Her most notable assignments include reporting on Senator Ted Cruz's presidential campaign and receiving exclusive interviews from important GOP political figures. Jackson was appointed chief White House Correspondent by NBC in 2017. Jackson has two daughters. She is married to Douglas Hitchner.
